LOG MEMBERSHIP
Membership Year
The LOG membership year runs from July 1 to June 30 of the following year. Renewals of membership begin at the Annual General Gathering (AGG) held each year in late May or early June and continue throughout the membership year.
Membership Fees
The LOG membership fee is $15 per year …
- if a member renews or joins in January, February, or March of the following year, the fee is $10,
- if a member renews or joins in April or May, the fee is $15, and they are included in the following year’s membership listing.
If a member who has access to email wishes to receive documents via Canada Post mail a surcharge of $10 will be charged to the regular membership fee. Members who do not have regular access to email will not be charged the extra $10.
New Members
New members are required to fill in a membership form and a waiver. The form indicates their name, address, email address, asks if they want their name, phone number, and email on the phone list, and also serves as proof of payment. The signed and witnessed waiver is required, in order to release LOG from liability in case of an accident occurring at an activity or gathering.

To become a member of LOG, complete the membership and waiver forms and send them with your payment to the address on the membership form.
Membership Renewals
If a member has not renewed her membership for the year by September 30, her name is removed from the email distribution and phone lists.
Membership Subsidies
There are subsidized memberships available for women who cannot afford the membership fee. Subsidized membership renewal is not automatic.
